✒️ Ash-Shaykh 'Abdullah Ibn Sulfiq Adh-Dhafiri حفظه الله said;

"Eat suhoor oh servants of Allah, for It has been authentically reported from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said about the suhoor, urging upon it, eat suhoor for there is blessings in suhoor.

He [ﷺ] said, “Suhoor is a meal of blessing, so do not miss it, even if one of you takes a sip of water, for Allah and His angels bless those who eat suhoor.”"

[حديث صحيح - خرجه شعيب الأرناوؤط في تخريج اىمسند]

قال الشيخ عبد الله ابن صلفيق الظفيري حفظه الله؛

‏تسحروا عباد الله فقد صح عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال عن السحور حاثاً عليه تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة
وقال "السَّحورُ أُكْلةُ بَرَكةٍ، فلا تَدَعوه، ولو أنْ يَجرَعَ أَحَدُكم جُرْعةً من ماءٍ؛ فإنَّ اللهَ وملائكتَه يُصلُّونَ على المُتَسَحِّرينَ".

قال شيخنا الإمام ربيع بن هادي المدخلي حفظه الله:

(وأوصيكم يا أخوتاه بالتآخي فيما بينكم، والبعد عن أسباب الشقاق والخلافات، لا تثر أنت مسألة تؤدي إلى الخلاف، وأنت لا يجرك الشيطان بمجرد أن يخطئ أخوك، يجرك إلى الخلاف والخصومة، تعلموا الصبر تعلموا الحكمة، أنتم الآن في هذا الوقت بأشد الحاجة إلى الحلم والصبر والحكمة واللطف، لا نقول: اسكت وجامل وداهن، انصح واصبر واحلم لوجه الله تبارك وتعالى، والله ستستقيم أموركم يا أبناءنا وتتلاحمون وتتآخون فيما بينكم).

Our Shaykh, Imām Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī — may Allāh preserve him upon goodness — said :

"I advise you, O my brothers, to maintain mutual love and brotherhood among yourselves, and to stay far away from the causes of division and disputes.

Do not be the one who stirs up an issue that leads to discord.

And do not let Shayțān drag you into conflicts and quarrels merely because your brother has made a mistake.

Learn to have patience. Learn to have wisdom.

You are, at this very time, in dire need of forbearance, patience, wisdom, and gentleness.

We are not saying : keep silent, flatter, or compromise.

Rather, advise—be patient, and show forbearance for the sake of Allāh, the Blessed and Exalted.

By Allāh, your affairs will become upright, O our sons, and you will be united and bound together in love and brotherhood.”

📜 1. Speak Good or Stay Silent

> النبي ﷺ قال:
«من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرًا أو ليصمت»

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent."
— [Sahih al-Bukhari (6136), Sahih Muslim (47)]

🔹 Explanation: A Muslim’s speech must be intentional—either beneficial, or avoided altogether.

📜 2. Most People Enter Hell Because of Their Tongues

> سُئِلَ النبي ﷺ عن أكثر ما يُدخِلُ الناسَ النارَ؟ فقال:
«الفَمُ والفَرْجُ»

"The thing that causes most people to enter Hell is the mouth and the private parts."
— [Jami' al-Tirmidhi (2004) – Hasan Sahih]

🔹 Explanation: Misuse of the tongue—backbiting, slander, lying—is a major cause of punishment.

📜 3. A Word Can Bring You to Hellfire

> النبي ﷺ قال:
«إن العبد ليتكلم بالكلمة من سخط الله، لا يلقي لها بالًا، يهوي بها في جهنم»

"Indeed a servant may utter a word displeasing to Allah without thinking it important, and it will throw him into Hell."
— [Sahih al-Bukhari (6478)]

🔹 Explanation: Even one careless word can harm a person.

📜 4. The Tongue is a Test

> النبي ﷺ قال لمعاذ:
«ألا أخبرك بملاك ذلك كله؟» قال: بلى يا رسول الله. فأخذ بلسانه وقال: "كفَّ عليك هذا".

The Prophet ﷺ said to Mu'adh:
“Shall I not tell you what controls all that?” Then he took hold of his tongue and said: “Restrain this.”

— [Jami‘ al-Tirmidhi (2616), Hasan Sahih]

🔹 Explanation: The control of one’s tongue controls the safety of one’s entire practice of Islam.

📜 5. Backbiting is Like Eating the Flesh of Your Brother

> قال تعالى:
«وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا»

“Do not backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother?”
— [Surah al-Ḥujurāt 49:12]

🔹 Explanation: The Qur'an uses a horrifying metaphor to show how serious backbiting is.

💬 Practical Lessons:

Think before speaking: Ask, is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?

Avoid gossip and mockery, even jokingly.

Make dhikr instead of idle talk.
